Freeport Economic Development Corporation Introduces New Website to Power Economic Development
news
FREEPORT, TX — The Freeport Economic Development Corporation, has announced the launch of a new website designed to increase transparency and attract business investment. Created in collaboration with Golden Shovel Agency, the leading marketing and communications partner dedicated exclusively to economic development, the new site will enhance communication and increase the city’s visibility among corporate leaders who are deciding where to open or expand a business.
The new site was custom designed to be easy to navigate and put essential information for residents and decision makers front and center. The site has clearly marked sections for available properties, workforce statistics, and housing opportunities alongside information about grants and incentives and the benefits of living and working in Freeport.
“Our previous website was very closed off and hard to navigate, so I’m hoping this site will open lines of community within our community to help our businesses and residents flourish,” said Rachael Cohen, Freeport Economic Development Specialist. “This site is designed to put Freeport front and center when people are looking for a city where they can live or open a business by highlighting our quality of life alongside the support we can offer business owners.”
The new website features a dedicated business improvement grant and incentives section that connects business owners with financial support and other incentives that can help them grow their business. It also highlights local news and business success stories. Golden Shovel Agency worked with the Freeport EDC to identify what was important to the organization and create a modern site that will help the organization better support its existing business community while attracting new investment.
“Golden Shovel Agency sets the standard in customer service,” Cohen said. “They worked with me to get everything launched on time and I’ve never had any issues with communication or connection,” Cohen said. “Golden Shovel has worked with so many vendors, when I reached out to a GIS company for property inventory, the two companies were able to work seamlessly together without a lot of time-consuming introductions.”
